Paas Easter egg decorating kits have been around since I can remember. I am pretty sure this is the brand that my mom used when I was a child. Paas have come a long way since then and just keep adding more fun kits! There is a wide assortment of new themed Easter egg decorating kits that you can check out. We were sent a couple to try out that I’ll share with you below!
The Paas Chrome Eggshaust is Big Bro’s favorite since he’s a lover of cars , motorcycles and anything with wheels.
“Easter isn?t all about bunnies & chicks. Boys want to decorate eggs with fun, cool designs such as motorcycles & chrome ? a fashion that will never go out of style.”
Of course the two boy can never agree, so Lil Man wanted to color eggs with the Eggstra Terrestrials. Lucky for me, I’m a very quick thinker and found a solution right away. We used them both! I just saved one pack of the color capsules so that we can do eggs again on Friday or Saturday. I like them fresh for Easter!
“Children love outer space; it allows their imagination to run wild and be creative. Eggstra-Terrestrials allows children to be creative & see their creation in the dark!”
Aside from these two kits, there is a huge variety to choose from. With an SPR of $2.99-$5.99, you really can’t go wrong. If your kids can’t agree on one, they’re cheap enough to buy a few!
| Kids dying their eggs |
We got everything all set up for the kids to dye their eggs. I looked for the vinegar and came to the conclusion that we didn’t have any, oops! It was already getting late, I didn’t want to go to the store, so I was ready to scrap the whole project and wait until they got home from school today. But, I read the back of the box and it said you could use water instead, you’ll just get more of a pastel color.
We sure did get pastel eggs! The yellow dye wouldn’t even color the eggs at all, nor would the orange. So I highly recommend making sure you have some vinegar on hand if you’d like nice bright colors. I will definitely be grabbing some from the store today for next time we color eggs!
The kids sure did have fun coloring and decorating their eggs though! Lil Man is quite proud of his creations and can’t wait to make some more!
