“Baby Magic’s history of providing gentle, effective, and no-nonsense products has made it a trusted brand for generations. Since 1951, the Baby Magic brand has been dedicated to the care and well-being of both parent and baby. We understand that the gentle touching and caressing that occurs during bath time serves not only to clean baby, but to establish a bond between parent and child. Continue to enhance and nurture this bond with Baby Magic as it replenishes moisture and provides a delicate, soft touch and clean scent – leaving baby smelling wonderful – as a baby should.”
As a first time mom, I always had a vision in my head. There were only certain products I had in my mind that would be “good enough” for my baby. Everything was name-brand and, funny enough, plugged a lot in commercials and magazine ads. Hmm, wonder how I came up with such a cookie-cutter idea?
In the past two years, I’ve found that not all baby and toddler products are created equally, regardless of how easily recognizable they are. We strictly used a certain big name brand product in our home for the first year. Simply and gentle enough, it wasn’t until Sonshine was almost one (he’s a winter baby), that we saw his eczema flair up and we started having issues with soap in the eyes (he’s a splasher). Our doctor would recommend another major brand for sensitive skin, which helped, but was not treating the problem. I switched kid shampoo and body wash like crazy over the following year, but nothing seemed to help ease the pain of itchy skin and sensitive eyes. That was, until I was introduced to Baby Magic products!
I was lucky enough to try out four of Baby Magic’s brand new line items! We moved into our first house just a few days before Christmas. And, wouldn’t you know our luck, our hot water heater did not work! I was so grateful to try out the new No-Rinse Wash.
This on-the-go product is perfect to use any time and any where your baby needs a quick clean up. It’s specially formulated for sensitive skin with a self-foaming, no-rinse cleanser. Simply pump into your hands and lather up your babies hair and body. This was wonderful for the in-between days when I wasn’t shuttling us into the city to visit my mother and use her shower. It left a clean scent and no residue. The No-Rinse Wash is hypoallergenic, tear-free, dye-free and easy to tote! Available in a 7oz. bottle, it easily fits into your diaper bag or purse!
When it rains, it pours. After all the traveling, the broken heater and the copious amounts of holiday candy (oh, please don’t judge me!), poor Sonshine ended up with a wicked case of diaper rash. At least, I’m telling myself it’s all coincidental after receiving these products! The new Medicated Cream-to-Powder for Diaper Rash is an amazing product. It is in a compact size, with a pod of diaper rash cream. The underside has storage for cotton pads, so you don’t have to use your fingers.
The medicated cream is hypoallergenic, non-greasy, has no petroleum, no mineral oil and is dermatologist tested.
I love how the cream seamlessly goes onto the skin with a baby powder finish. You don’t have to worry about powder filling the air and having your munchkin breathing it in, but you still get the added protection it offers. I personally used my fingers to apply the cream, it was just easier and quicker for me and it washed off easy enough. After a few days use, Sonshine’s diaper rash cleared up and never became worse, which I’ve noticed with other diaper rash creams. And the .28oz compact is small enough to fit next to the No-Rinse Wash in your diaper bag.
The next two products are my favorite of the four. I really enjoyed them all, but when you have a little boy who has eczema so bad that his arm swells up, you’re desperate to find anything that works. I’ve found nothing that works and I’ve paid all kinds of money. That was, until Gentle Eczema Balm from Baby Magic Came our way. The handy design helps you target your kids problem area/s without the mess and hassle of rubbing a smelly cream onto the skin. Enriched with vitamins, aloe, oatmeal and Certified Organic Shea Butter, this balm helps reduce itching and swelling of eczema.
Now, the balm is a bit greasy. I’ve been putting it on Sonshine’s worst part, his arm, now for a good week and a half. Some days, I miss an application and it shows. As long as I keep applying the balm, the swelling goes down and Sonshine is less prone to itch. The less he itches, the better it starts to heal. It’s done the best job of any Eczema product out there.
And last, but not least, we were able to try out the Kids Magic Bubble Bath in Bubblegum Pop.
This bubble bath is hypoallergenic, tear-free and produces large and long lasting bubbles.
I love this bubble bath! The first thing I noticed was the scent. It smells just like pink bubblegum you would have smacked on as a child. I wasn’t surprised when Sonshine tried to take a taste!
The bubbles it produced were great! They were big and foamy and lasted well after the water started to turn cold. But, the best feature: No tears. Seriously. No tears. Sonshine smeared the bubbles all over his face, rubbed his eyes and nothing. Not one peep out of him! Every other product I have ever used that claims to be “tear-free” has not. Even the tiniest amount of soap used to make Sonshine cry and his eyes raw and red from rubbing. Kids Magic Bubble Bath left him clean, smelling great and allowed him to have tons of fun in the tub! And, how can you refuse Sonshine in that picture?
Baby Magic is an amazing company.
