Kids need responsibility. I’ve seen first hand the difference that certain things can make in a child’s life like responsibilities, goals and expectations. These things make kids try harder. They give them something to look forward to or work towards. They teach them important life lessons.
Goalforit is an online resource that helps you to set goals for your kids. You can create a Goal Tracker, Chore Chart or Behavior Chart as well as To-Do lists. Each area has their own instructional video and seem easy enough to follow. You can manage your charts online, or print them to use and hang on your refrigerator, bulletin board or any place else that you can think of.
Lil Man has been asking all about allowance and the likes lately and if you ask me, he doesn’t do enough to earn an allowance. He fights me the whole way on anything that he has to do, unless of course he’s in the mood to do something {which isn’t often}. I am really interested in the behavior and chore charts and hope that they may each be able to help me help him reach his goals and change his attitude.
