Pampers is celebrating its 50th birthday! Can you believe it?
In celebration of this big day, Pampers launched its Little Miracle Mission. They already helped out with baby showers for families in need just in time for Mother’s Day. Now they’re paying it forward to the dads!
“Let’s make a dad’s first Father’s Day one he?ll never forget. The mission is to help give dads the time he and his baby deserve to bond. As it’s so critical to his baby’s development. Just by running some of his errands, covering his late meeting at work or helping him out with some chores at home can make room for some precious quality time with his little miracle. Pick one or one of your own and tell us how it goes.

I may not have a ton of money to help out the needy, but I do love to do my part and I get satisfaction out of knowing that I helped someone out. That’s why I did my part to help out in the Little Miracles Mission! Pamperss armed me with a $50 American Express Gift Card with the challenge to “Pay it Forward” with a random act of kindness for someone in need. What I chose to do with that was up to me.
We have a local food pantry in our city that is run in the basement of a church. families from the community can go there for food and basic necessities like soap, shampoo and things like that. They also have a donation center so that people can donate clothes, toys and household items. It’s set up kind of like a store and people can just walk through and choose things that they need.
Project Concern is where I decided to help to “Pay it Forward”. I figured that there are so many people in need in my community, that I would try to help more than one family. I also thought that this place would know who is most in need because that’s what they do.
I dropped off my donation of diapers, wipes and baby food along with a huge box of the boys’ old toys and clothes as well as a garbage bag full of women’s clothes. The staff was so appreciative and thanked me from the bottom of my heart because diapers are so desperately needed by people who come there.
Not only was I able to help out, but I felt good doing it. It felt wonderful to know that I was able to do this small little thing through this campaign and the help of Pampers.
Just take a look at this video and tell me that it doesn’t touch you in some way. If you ask me, I say “How can it not?”. Pampers is right, every little baby is a miracle. They are also our future. With so many babies in this world that don’t have their every day needs met, people do need to step in. That’s why I think this mission is so great!
