I have seen commercials for Moon Dough quite a bit lately and it seemed like interesting stuff. Lil Man was always a fan of other brands of dough, so I asked him if he would like some. He practically screamed “Yes!”.
The Moon Dough Magic Zoo arrived and we just had to start the assembly right away. He couldn’t wait. It was like he was waiting his whole life to try this stuff out. It was actually kind of funny! Considering that he’s a 9 year old “big boy” now, I didn’t expect that level of excitement from him.
We got it all assembled and the kids started playing with it. They were having a great time. I checked it out for a little while too, but couldn’t help noticing the smell on my hands afterward. It wasn’t horrible, but just strange. I washed my hands right away.
The kids did their things and made their little animals. When it was time to clean up, everything seemed easy enough. There were little particles of the Moon Dough, but we just patted the balls of Moon Dough on top of them and the little chunks stuck like glue. Clean up was a breeze!
They both enjoyed playing with the Moon Dough and Lil Man has been asking for more play sets. I guess he’s got my creative gene and he wants to see what other cool things he can make and build.
Over the weekend, my brothers, sister and the girl next door were over and somebody mentioned Moon Dough. I told them we had some and they all wanted to check it out. Well these guys did more than “check it out”. They played with the stuff for a good hour I’d say! They were totally having fun too!
Just look at all the fun they’re having and the determination on their faces! They had so much fun, they didn’t mind the camera snapping off pictures of them playing with “kid toys”. It’s totally priceless!
Of course, I thought it was awesome that they actually posed with their masterpieces just for this review so that you could all see a bunch of teens having fun with Moon Dough! It definitely piqued their interest!
Later on the “grown ups” were playing with it because it was still sitting on the kitchen table. That got a little funny, but I can’t even post about it here! Let’s just say that something popped up and was walking around the table!
