I have seen the Dyson commercials and often wondered “Do they really work that well?” I am a skeptic by nature, so I really didn’t think so. I mean, can a vacuum really work that good? However, I was anxious to see for myself because of all the buzz I’ve seen about Dyson lately. I have read countless reviews, many from bloggers that I trust. As I blogger myself, I know we don’t just create that much buzz for nothing.
I was pretty excited when Dyson sent me the DC31 to review and try out for myself. It may be a hand held, but this baby packs a lot of punch.
Hand held vacuums definitely come in handy around here too. They’re great for when the kids or dogs knock something over which is pretty often! Pulling out the big vacuum every time that happens can really be a pain!
“Dyson DC31 is a handheld vacuum ideal for quick pick-ups and spot cleaning. Includes dual power mode that gives longer run-time for large jobs or extra suction for stubborn dirt. Powered by the new Dyson digital motor – three times faster, the most power efficient.“
As soon as I turned the DC31 on for the first time, I was amazed by the suction power. I could put it to my hand and literally pull the skin up a little with it. That’s what I call suction! In a vacuum, especially a hand held one, that’s amazing. I knew that this little machine would get the job done. Don’t take my word for it. See it in action yourself!
So as you can see, the DC31 works pretty amazingly. We were both very happy with the results. We’ve had a few of our friends and family members try this out while they were here too and they were all amazed with how well it worked and how much suction power comes from this tiny thing!
So how does the DC31 have so much suction power and work so well?
“We?ve all been frustrated with handheld vacuums. Their inefficient motors can drain up to half their power. They lose suction, some after only a minute of use. They don?t pick up, they don?t work.
But now there is DC31. Dyson’s latest handheld is powered by the Dyson digital motor, DDM ? the fastest, most power-efficient motor ever developed for a handheld vacuum. Spinning up to 104,000rpm, DDM is five times faster than a Formula 1 race car engine. You get more power, longer. It just works.“
Gift It!
You can buy the Dyson DC31 Vacuum Cleaner for $219.99. The price tag may seem a little high, but it’s definitely worth it! This would be a great gift idea for a college student, someone who just moved into a new home or anyone with a house for that matter.
