The holidays are always a busy time of the year. There are countless parties and gatherings. Hostess gifts are proper etiquette, but what do you when you don’t know them well enough to buy them something special?
A good idea for a host/hostess or even last minute gifts is a bottle of liquor. It’s something that can be opened and shared among guests at the party and can lighten up the mood.
I am pretty much a beer girl myself. I’m not really big on fancy drinks and many liquors, so I honestly hadn’t heard of Aliz? before trying it out.
I tried the Aliz? Red Passion which is exotic passion fruit and cranberries delicately blended with premium French Vodka. The Man was the first one who tried it since I am pretty skeptical about trying new liquor. I’m always afraid the taste is just gonna get me, if you know what I mean.
I was actually pleasantly surprised when I did try it. I tried it just on the rocks, instead of mixed with anything and it was delicious! It’s definitely a drink that I can handle.
Aliz? comes in 5 flavors and they even have drink recipes on their site. Here’s a recipe for a “Party Crasher” made with Aliz? Red passion.
- 2 ounces Aliz? Red Passion
- 1 ounce premium vodka
- Serve in a rocks glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
Remember to drink responsibly and never drink and drive. Make sure to catch a cab or arrange a designated driver if you’ll be drinking at holiday parties this year, or any time for that matter.
