I love pizza. It’s definitely one of my all time favorite foods. I wish I could just live on it, seriously. In fact, I enjoy pizza so much that I even make my own on occasion. It turns out pretty good too, if I do say so myself!
So, did you know that you can make pizzas on your grill? I did, but I never tried it until just this past week.
I prepared my pizzas with a 12″ Thin Crust and 12″ Original Crust from Boboli. I used my favorite sauce, spiced up of course. That’s the only way to go! Then I fried up some Italian sausage, added some pepperoni, sliced portabella mushrooms and some cheese. It turned out absolutely delicious! The kids loved it too and so did my brothers and neighbors. Yep, we had a regular old pizza party without even planning for one!
Now, I don’t have my own pictures to share with you and I really wish I did. Besides tasting super delicious, it looked scrumptious! But honestly, the thought of taking pictures didn’t even cross my mind until the last piece was being eaten! I will be making this again though, so I’ll definitely tgake some pictures next time, and include a recipe for you all!
Here are some tips for grilling pizza from Boboli:
o Grill the crust 2-4 minutes per side, over medium low heat.
o Remove crust and pile on your favorite, pre-cooked toppings.
o Grill for 8-10 minutes until you see grill marks on the bottom of the crust, and enjoy!
