Here’s the boys in the backseat on the way up there. Don’t ask me what’s up with the silly looks, because I just have no clue!
Here’s the tent area of our camp site. We were right by the playground, so that was nice. The tent on the left is the new one we just bought from Sam’s Club. It’s AWESOME. We absolutely love it! We weren’t even planning to buy a new tent until we saw this one set up in the store. It’s a Coleman tent, which sold us even more. This is the Instant Tent8 and the poles are already attached for instant set up. It set up so easily, I couldn’t believe it. We were so happy too, because we usually fight every year while putting up our other one because it takes so long and is super frustrating.
That little blue tent, is Lil Man’s. They each have one, so of course they wanted to sleep in their own tents. They attempted it the first night. Lil Bro ended up in our tent and Big Bro actually slept in his. Until the man and I went to bed, and the second we laid down it started to rain. I had to get up and take him out of there and into our tent because I knew that it would leak. It’s a tiny tent, and I think it’s made for play, not really camping on a rainy night. Good thing I did too, because it was flooded in there come morning.

Here’s the first night’s fire. It was such a fun, relaxing and chill day. The first night it was just my family, my 2 brothers and our neighbor. As you can see the man loves his fires HUGE. You’ll see even more in the next post!
