I received compensation from Bayer Consumer Health, makers of MiraLAX® to write this post. MiraLAX® is a laxative used to treat occasional constipation. All opinions are entirely my own. #ReliefMadeEasy #CollectiveBias
Warning, this post is full of TMI, but it might help you out, so keep on reading!
So I was having digestion issues a few weeks ago, and I was having a hard time “going”, if you know what I mean. I was talking to a friend, expressing my fear over stimulant laxatives and while it was embarrassing, I’m glad that we had that talk. She recommended that I take MiraLAX®, because it doesn’t cause harsh side effects and it offers a more gentle experience. I was a bit skeptical, but she’d been through a similar experience, so I figured I would trust her on this one.
MiraLAX® works with your body to relieve occasional constipation and works totally different than stimulant laxatives. Rather than forcefully stimulating the nerves in your colon like stimulant laxative pills, MiraLAX® unblocks your system naturally to hydrate, soften, and ease by working with the water in your body. It’s easy on your body, easy to take and is a safe, effective brand that you can trust. You can grab the MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax or bottle and use this coupon to save on any MiraLAX® product. You can pick it up right at your local Walgreens.
Now since MiraLAX® has no flavor, you can mix it in any beverage. However, when I experience occasional constipation, I like to mix it in a smoothie. so I am sharing my recipe for this delicious Fruity Sunrise Smoothie to relieve constipation. It’s super simple to make, tastes great and you can use either MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax or the bottle.
Fruity Sunrise Smoothie to relieve constipation
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup mango
- 1 cup orange (about 1 orange)
- 1/2 cup banana (about 1/2 a banana)
- 1/2 cup – 1 cup milk, depending on how thick you like your smoothies.
To make your fruity sunrise smoothie, peel and slice your fruit. Add the ingredients to your blender. You can add in one MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax for relief of occasional constipation.
Blend and garnish with fresh raspberries.
Serve, enjoy and soon enough, you’ll feel some relief from your occasional constipation.
