I was provided with a vehicle to test drive for this 2017 Toyota Rav4 review. As always, all opinions are my own.
Road tripping is such fun. In fact, it’s one of my favorite things to do and such a fun way to travel. Maureen from Wisconsin Mommy and I went on a road trip to Galena, IL last week and we had such a great time. I’ll be sharing all about that soon, so stay tuned. Our epic adventure all started with the ride, which was pretty sweet thanks to the 2017 Toyota Rav4 and its great handling through inclement weather.
It’s just my luck that I would venture on a two and a half hour drive just as a nasty storm was beginning to brew. Not long after we left my house, the dark clouds started rolling in and we were trapped between the storm and pretty blue skies the entire journey to Galena. But that didn’t stop us because the 2017 Toyota Rav4 handled like a champ through torrential downpours at highway speeds. If that’s not enough reason to love this ride, keep on reading because there’s more!
The interior of the Toyota Rav4 is quite luxurious. There is leather interior throughout the vehicle and plenty of leg room for passengers in the front and back seats. Comfort is key when you’re traveling a distance and this crossover surely offers that.
Speaking of roomy, there was plenty of room for our luggage in the back, with room to spare. We each had a suitcase and a bag and I also brought some boxes full of Avon brochures so that I could label them and get some work done during our trip.?You know it, the work never ends for me – always hustling!
The 2017 Toyota Rav4 offers a stylish leather dash along with a easy to use display area for heating and air controls, audio and navigation.
The navigation is nice in this vehicle because it even appears right in the dash area where the speedometer and rpm gauges are.
But I’m sure that you’re like me and are more concerned about the performance of the vehicle that you drive. The 2017 Toyota Rav4 has a 2.5-Liter 4-Cylinder engine and 6-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission that packs a lot more punch than you’d think. When you start the vehicle, it;s automatically in “eco” mode but when you push that little “sport” button next to it, this baby takes off. You can actually feel the kick in the engine! It has great acceleration, steering and overall control.
Those of you with families and safety at the top of your list, the 2017 Toyota Rav4 offers many great safety features to ensure your family’s safety. Lane departure alert with steering assist will help ensure that you stay in your lane with an audible beep and flashing light. Gentle corrective steering is provided when necessary too.
The Dynamic Radar Cruise Control comes in handy when the vehicle in front of you is going slower, the vehicle will actually slow down, ensuring that you stay a safe distance away from the vehicle in front of you.
That’s just a handful of what the 2017 Toyota Rav4 has to offer in its class. I absolutely loved driving it and was a bit sad when I had to let it go!
