Learning is a fundamental part of a child’s development and you can help to make learning fun through play. When you introduce learning through play, it helps to keep the child’s attention and allows them to have fun, while at the same time learning. It’s a win/win situation and I’ve found a really great tool to help elementary age children learn math skills. I’ve partnered with Zap Zap Math to share all about it. As always, all opinions are my own.
Zap Zap Math is a fun and interactive way to help kids learn math. They’ve recently introduced a new and improved interface with a new color scheme and design. Available for iOS and Android devices, Zap Zap Math can be played anywhere – even on the go! Players on iOS devices can even enjoy a simplified Chinese language.
Make learning fun through play
It’s super easy to get started with Zap Zap Math and you will first be able to choose your favorite avatar and then name. I allowed the computer to generate one for me and it came up with a fun and quirky name – Quick Paru. Then you will pick your grade level for game play, choosing between grades K-6.
There are many games to choose from – 20 in the basic game and over 100 in the premium version, which is only $9.99 per year and also comes with a detailed report card. In fact, 9 out of 10 teachers actually say that Zap Zap Math has helped to improve their students’ math scores!
One you’ve completed all of the 5 stages, you’ll be scored on accuracy and also get bonuses for speed and accuracy; earning coins for how well you did. There is also a multiplayer quiz feature with leaderboard ranking too, so that you can compete against others.
Zap Zap Math is simple to use and an enjoyable game to help children learn. You can download it on iOS and Android devices for free, with many premium options for a small annual fee.
The brand will also be launching Zap Zap Kindergarten Math next month, which will be an awesome tool for young learners!
