Just the other day I was talking to my grandmother about my new bathroom cleaner and she told me what ingredients to use for a DIY ammonia free glass cleaner. I have been very disappointed with my rather expensive store bought GREEN window cleaner, and other than smelling great it leaves streaks everywhere.
Would you believe she gave me the best two ingredients for streak free windows and mirrors! The best part is my Labrador’s don’t like the smell which means less nose prints to clean! Whoopee that means less cleaning for me! When we adopted two Labrador puppies I didn’t think it was possible to keep my windows clean. Now I am streak free and can see out all of my windows!
What can I use if I don’t have glass cleaner?
The good news is that you do not need traditional glass cleaner to get your windows nice and clean. You can actually spray vinegar right on your windows, and wipe away the dirt and grime with newspaper. Ammonia is actually one of the ingredients in this easy to make glass cleaner!
