Fall is my favorite season and although Florida doesn’t have much of a true Fall, I love every second of the crisp air and the slightly cooler weather. My favorite thing about the Fall is the return of all things pumpkin. From pumpkin spice lattes to pumpkin candles, I absolutely have to indulge myself in pumpkin from September – November. To go with my love of pumpkin and to help my skin prepare for the slightly cooler weather, I decided to make a refreshing pumpkin face mask using only 3 simply ingredients you can get in any grocery store and that you probably already have at home.
- 2 tbsp. Pumpkin puree (canned stuff works great)
- 1/2 tsp. Milk (I’d go full fat, but you can use any kind, even almond or soy)
- 1 tsp. Honey (if you’re acne prone, go for apple cider vinegar instead)
Pumpkin is great for the skin. It’s got a lot of Vitamin A which is great for wrinkles and Vitamin C which is a great antioxidant. Not only does it make your skin look great, but this mask is completely edible (not that I ate it, but makes me feel safe putting it on my skin), and smells amazing! It also has the added benefit of scaring your kids and or spouse when you have it on…perfect for Halloween 🙂
