This first device is something I never would have thought I needed. That is, until I did get it and it ended up actually saving my work day a couple of weeks later! Our internet service was blacked out for an entire day last week. I was frantic, literally going crazy. Without internet, I cannot work. It’s the plain and simple truth. Then I remembered the NETGEAR Zing Mobile Hotspot that I just received from Sprint. I hooked my laptop up to its wi-fi and was able to get to work! I swear, it literally saved my sanity and I’m sure any one of you who works online can relate!
The NETGEAR Zing Mobile Hotspot has so many convenient features. It’s easy to set up, has GPS functionality (i.e., Location Based Services) and it’s about the size of a smart phone. My favorite feature is that you can connect up to 10 wi-fi enabled devices. That came in handy during my work day last week because the rest of the family was streaming Netflix and using the tablet. We were all be able to be connected – it was great!
Aside from home uses in an emergency such as I had, the NETGEAR Zing Mobile Hotspot is great for on the go. I can take my laptop or tablet with me in the car and work wherever I need to really. Before, I just had my phone for on the go and even checking emails on that gets tedious – let alone trying to access the web or anything else that I need.
When we’re on a family vacation or even camping, I can still have complete access to my little online world. I never have to feel “disconnected” again – unless of course I want to! The 10 hour usage battery life and 10 days of standby should definitely do the trick!
Overall, I am impressed with this little device. I honestly don’t know how I lived without it before now! Whether I’m in the parking lot waiting for the kids to get out of school, running errands or just need to connect away from home, I never have to worry as long as I take my NETGEAR Zing Mobile Hotspot with me!
