We just purchased carpet in our living area, and the last thing I want is to not clean it properly. I would love this larger purchase to last a long time. I’m sure you would want the same?!? With that being said, a vacuum is probably the most primary tool in getting rid of the dirt and allergens that are held deep within carpet. So an investment in a quality vacuum is very important.
You can imagine my excitement when I received the opportunity to review the Soniclean VT Plus:
The first thing I thought when I opened the box was, how sleek this SoniClean looked and felt! It’s very light, only weighing in at 10.5 lbs. Since it is so light, I actually enjoy vacuuming my second floor…it’s no longer a chore to lug it up the stairs.
The Soniclean was practically put together when it arrived, the only thing I had to assemble was the hook(pictured above), where the cord wraps around. I just simply screwed it in and I was all set to go!
I have both vinyl flooring and carpet, so I need a vacuum that does both. With the Soniclean I could easily switch to Hard Floor to Carpet while the vacuum is running. This feature makes a mom’s life much easier!
The one thing that attracted me to this vacuum was the HEPA Filter. If you’re not familiar with the benefits of a HEPA Filter, it basically traps harmful particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust mites and more. So if you have sensitivities this vacuum throws less dirt and allergens into the air. I’m all for that!
Sonifresh is another aspect to this vacuum that’s a plus. When you’re vacuuming you can smell a light scent, it is by no means over powering. Knowing you are freshening up the carpet while you’re vacuuming is a great feeling!
To insert the Sonifresh, you simply place the round freshener into place and twist. Then you’re ready to go!
Over all I really enjoy this vacuum! I love the fact it vibrates the dirt right out of my carpet…yes really…the more technical way to say this is… it has a technology that has 200 vibrations per second and this loosens deep ground in dirt. You don’t really feel the vibrations at all, it runs very smooth!
If you’re looking for a super light weight vacuum, with a HEPA Filter, that has an easy two mode switch, this Soniclean is for you!
