Easy DIY Eucalyptus Bath Bombs

These easy DIY eucalyptus bath bombs are a simple craft you can make at home using basic ingredients. They’re perfect for a relaxing bath or as a thoughtful handmade gift.
Yield: 5 medium bath bombs

Materials

  • ½ cup baking soda
  • ¼ cup epsom salts
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • ¼ cup citric acid
  • ½ tsp green mica powder
  • 1 tbsp dried eucalyptus leaves
  • 1 tbsp sweet almond oil
  • ½ tbsp water
  • 20 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • Bath bomb molds
  • Whisk
  • Large bowl
  • Small jar with lid

Instructions

  • Add the baking soda, epsom salts, cornstarch, citric acid, mica, and eucalyptus leaves to a large bowl and stir with a whisk until completely combined.
  • Add the sweet almond oil,water, and eucalyptus oil to a small jar, secure the lid, and shake well.
  • Slowly pour the liquid into the dry mixture, whisking the entire time, so as not to activate the fizz.
  • Overfill two halves of the bath bomb molds, push together, and gently twist.
  • Allow bath bombs to set for 8 hours or more, then remove from the mold. You may need to gently tap the bottoms for them to release easier.
