Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Raspberry Blood Orange
  • Salt & Tajin Seasoning
  • Ice
  • 2 oz. Tequila here I used Anejo
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • 2 oz. lime juice
  • Dried Blood Orange Slice or lime, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Use a citrus juicer or by hand, juice the blood orange (this produced approximately 1 oz. of juice).
  • Add some salt and Tajin seasoning to a small dish and mix.
  • Use a little of that juice or a lime wedge to rim your glass.
  • Dip the rim of the glass into the salt/Tajin mixture.
  • Add ice to your glass.
  • Then add in the tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, and blood orange juice.
  • Give everything a little stir and garnish with the dried blood orange slice or lime.

Notes

If desired pour the juice through a sieve or alternatively can use a shaker to make the margarita so that you can strain the liquid.
