Confession time: I’ve never set foot inside an Aldi store. Pick your jaws up off the floor and hear me out. I had never heard of an Aldi until after my son was born and that’s just shy of under four years. I had never seen an Aldi until one was being built while we had a brief stint in New York, but it was so far from where we lived, I never made it before we moved back home. Now, I know where two stores are in my area, but, the money I would save shopping there versus what I’d spend on gas to get there, sort of cancels each other out. It’s quite the conundrum. It seemed like that I was going to be doomed to a life of dreaming of Aldi from afar, without it ever knowing how much I wanted to shop there.
But, that’s all about to change in one big swoop for me. Not only will I finally get to set foot into an Aldi, I get to go to the U.S. headquarters in Batavia, IL – a suburb of Chicago, this Thursday! They say “Go big or go home,” and there’s nothing bigger than visiting the headquarters of a major chain for the fist time! I’m so excited, grateful, and nervous! Not to mention, this will be the longest I’ll have ever been away from my kid!
Okay, enough about me! Aldi wants to hear from you! There will be a professional food stylist and a food photographer at this event and they want to know what questions you have!
