Some review items are so awesome they speak for themselves. Beard Head is one of those products. They are a traditional knit caps but with beards and mustaches attached right to them. They are amazingly awesome and I can not tell you how many compliments I have received since putting my family in them.

I have been telling my husband for years that a beard would be a good look for him. He did not believe me. Here is photographic proof that I am right. At 6’9″ my husband was born to be a Barbarian Warrior. Without actually saying it he must think I am right since he immediately switched his Facebook profile picture to this one. Massive amount of likes and comments commenced.

He plans to come up with an outfit to match so that he has the perfect Barbarian costume come Halloween time.

Little kids can enjoy these hats too with their Baby Beard Headz Line. I don’t have a boy so here is one of my best friend’s with her son wearing the Kid-Roro hat. He looks like a little lumberjack.

Girls are not left out. My two daughters had no problem sporting them.

These caps with beards are not only awesome and adorable in every way but they keep your face warm in the cold. My preschooler loves animated movies and lately she has really been into planes. We do live right next to an international airport and she goes through these phases of being really into something for a little while. That only meant that it was perfect timing to show her the movie Wings. We watched it together on one of our Friday movie nights when Daddy was out of town. She was literally in a trance and watched the whole thing without saying anything. If you knew my daughter you would know this is a miracle as she loves to talk and sing and not be still during movies. She told me it was “so awesome I just had to focus on it.” It was high flying action that both boys and girls can enjoy.

The NEW Philips Sonicare Power Toothbrush For Kids

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month so now is the perfect time to ensure that you are doing everything you can for you children’s dental health. When it comes to brushing and going to the dentist for my kids I can be pretty hardcore. They started going to the dentist at 12 months and I have been brushing their teeth since they got their very first tooth. Neither of them complain about brushing their teeth since it is just always been a part of their daily routine. Both are really great about it. My 5 year old had been asking for an power toothbrush for a while now but I was not really sure if she was old enough until I learned that Philips Sonicare makes one for children that are 4+ years old.

This new Philips Sonicare for Kids power toothbrush has over 500 brushstrokes per second and sonic cleaning power all to help your child’s needs to achieve a healthy smile as their brushing skills develop. What truly had me sold is that this brush removes up to 75% more plaque than a manual toothbrush.

To get kids really excited they get to pick the sticker that goes on the replaceable front panel. It also has a sticker sheet so that they can really decorate it the way they want to. Plenty of “cool” choices to pick from. I am not to sure if it is even cool to say cool any more or maybe I am too old to say it!

For wiggle-worms who can?t bear to sit through a full two minutes of brushing, the KidTimer can be adjusted to ?low mode? which slowly teaches children to brush for just a little longer each time, slowly introducing them to the full two minutes of brushing. At the end, kids can look forward to hearing a congratulatory song declaring their brushing complete!

There are two different power levels so you can choose the one that is best for your kid.

It comes with a regular brush head but you can purchase compact brush heads that suit younger brushers that are over the age of 4. Here is a picture of the regular and compact brush heads side by side.

The best part is that my daughter immediately took to this brush. She absolutely loves it and you would think I bought her a big Christmas present with how excited she is to use it every night!

She can reach all her back teeth all by herself and she knows to rotate positions based on the buzzing of the brush. Which ensures each quadrant of the mouth
is properly attended to via a KidPacer, which provides a short series of
tones to alert the brusher to move to the next section of their mouth
so no teeth are left behind! I can’t possibly think of anything that could improve this brush!

Red Velvet Valentine’s Sandwich Cookies

I love Red Velvet Cupcakes. They are my absolute favorite and just oh so delicious! So I bought a Red Velvet cake mix last week and planned to make some super yummy Valentine’s Day cupcakes for the family. Well then I saw these amazing Red Velvet Sandwich Cookies on the box and just knew they’d be a hit and perfect for a Valentine’s treat!

I couldn’t believe how easy they were to make and how amazingly decadent they turned out. It was like biting into a little piece of Heaven – oh so divine! I followed the directions of the Duncan Hines website and they turned out almost perfect. The first batch was just a tad crisp though, so I kept the next ones in for a shorter time. I guess my oven cooks hot!
