While I love to have fun in the sun, one of the most dreaded parts of summer for me is having to put on a bathing suit. Somehow, I lost that 20 year old body along the line and wearing a bathing suit has never been the same. I am definitely more modest and want full coverage, which is pretty hard to find sometimes.

Then one day I happened upon Hapari and fell head over heels with their swimsuits. Since I must wear a tankini, I want one that is long enough. I want it to hide my tummy, not show it off. Hapari’s selection of modest tankinis is so versatile, it was so hard to even decide which one I wanted!

Finally I made up my mind and went with the Aqua Bay V-Neck Tankini. I just adored the colors. Aqua and brown together make a beautiful color combination.

To bring out the blue and make the whole look nice and vibrant, I chose the Hot Shorts Aqua Bottoms to go with it. I just love the style of boy shorts and think this look is perfect for a mom. Too bad I don’t look as good as in it as the model lol.

Anyway, I really do adore the suit though. The tankini is nice and long and the boy shorts cover more than a traditional bottom. The v-neck allows for a bit of sexiness without showing off too much.

The really great thing about Hapari is that everything is sold separately and just about everything is mix and match. You could buy say 4 pieces and complete a bunch of different looks! You gotta love versatility!

Pirate’s Booty sent me this cool little treasure chest filled with goodies for review. I thought it was the coolest thing when I opened up the package. So did the kids. Lil Man kept begging to eat some of the stuff in the treasure chest. Finally I just had to give in and let him try some. I was surprised that he just loved them. I thought because they’re a “healthier snack” that he wouldn’t like them.

My favorite out of the assortment I received were the Aged White Cheddar. It’s puffed rice and corn blended with white cheddar, yum. Since I’m trying more to watch what I eat, they’re really a great healthier snack alternative.

The fact that the kids like these snacks is great too, because Idon’t have to feel bad letting them eat it.

“Cheesecake. Not a bad way to bond. And like friends who sit down with a couple of slices, this is the place where we get to know each other better.”

I love cheesecake. It’s by far my absolute favorite dessert! I like it so much in fact, that plain is totally fine with me! Who needs toppings with a mouth full of bliss? Definitely not this mama!

BUT…… That’s not to say toppings aren’t good! They are divine!

I recently tried the Candy Crazy Cheesecake Sampler from Eli’s Cheesecake and boy was it delicious! You should have seen us all when I pulled that big boy out of the fridge! No one could decide which flavor they wanted to try! In fact the Man was so indecisive {as usual!} that he actually took two different kinds! Granted, he couldn’t finish them both because it was so filling. He sure did try though!

The Candy Crazy Cheesecake Sampler includes a few pieces of each of their candy cheesecake flavors; Caramel Nougat made with Snickers, Turtle Trio, and Chocolate Peanut Butter made with Reese’s. I am a turtle fanatic {the candy kind, not the animal kind, lol}, so of course that was the first piece I divulged in. All I can say is “Yum, yum, yummy”! It was so delicious and mouth watering. I almost didn’t want to try any of the other kinds. I just wanted to hog that turtle flavor all to myself! I didn’t though. I resisted temptation and let the other flavors tempt me. Boy am I glad I did too, because the snickers was so delicious! The Reese’s one was great too, just a little rich for my taste. However, that one was my chocolate lover son’s favorite!

Being a woman definitely isn’t an easy thing. We are so different than men, in so many ways. One of the main differences of course, is body hair. While men are hairy furry animals {raw humor here, lol}, women prefer to get rid of their unwanted hair.

Arm us women with a razor and some shaving cream and we can make the hairiest legs super soft and silky. Unfortunately for some of us, any old razor just won’t do. Like me for example, I need multiple blades. Forget those single or double blade razors. Those can go right in the trash because they sure don’t do their job!

I actually used to feel that same exact way about disposable razors. I can’t remember the last time I used one. That is, until I tried the Bic Soleil.

The Bic Soleil is unlike any other disposable razors I have used in the past. It had 4 flexible blades, a pivoting head and a moisture strip. The handles are exotically scented and it’s got a non slip grip.

The Bic Soleil razor works great and really gets the job done. I don’t worry about missing a spot and I haven’t gotten razor burn.
