As a former athlete the hardest part of pregnancy for me has been getting my body back. I will say that I looked the best I have ever looked fourteen months after my first child. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for my second and third. After my third child I definitely experienced the diastasis recti postpartum, or ?mommy pooch.” I discovered this new postnatal fitness system: The Dia Method: 10 Minutes Flat workout. That’s where I learned how to check my ?mommy pooch” for abdominal separation known as diastasis. I have a one-two finger diastasis. This method explains that no matter how skinny you get or how many crunches you do your ?mommy pouch? will not go away if you do not first correct your diastasis recti postpartum.
The first video suggests that you measure your waistline just so that you can check your results in 6-8 weeks. I have not completed six weeks of training so I have not seen any major results, but I can feel them. All you have to do is set aside 10 minutes a day. Whenever you can find time to complete your 10 minute core workout, it could be five minutes in the morning and 5 again at night.
The Dia Method: 10 Minutes Flat Workout:
- Eliminate that post-pregnancy pooch
- Sculpt firm, flat & sexy abs
- Shrink your waistline
- Support & Protect your back
- Safely strengthen your entire body
The Dia Method is a science-based fitness system for women that helps correctly condition abdominal muscles for total body fitness before, during and after pregnancy and was designed by Leah Keller a New York based personal trainer who specializes in pre and postnatal fitness. This method explains how you can actually train your push muscles to have a faster, easier labor!
And with a strong, powerful core added benefits are preventing the back pain and waddling common in pregnancy. The Dia Method series effectively restores strength and integrity to muscles affected by pregnancy. This is a completely new approach to fitness.
After my first session I was so impressed with how my abs felt that I truly believe that its never too late to get better abs, no matter how long its been or how many kids you’ve had. I could feel the difference after one session so I can only image how I will look in 6-8 weeks. The Dia Method provides the message of hope for moms everywhere that flabby ?mommy abs? are not an unavoidable cost of motherhood and that they CAN have the best bodies of their lives.
