Your child gets to pop cute balloons of different colors and shapes with Mochu! With each pop your child experiences authentic sounds of the English, French, Spanish, and Italian languages.
Kadho’s games and ebooks mimic living in English, French, Spanish, and Italian speaking countries. Our apps expose children to the world’s most important sounds identified and selected by scientists, linguists, and child development experts for learning the world’s languages. These are the fundamental ?foreign sounds? that make up languages. These sounds are presented in a custom manner that exposes a child to these sounds in a natural manner they can learn.
For each level it is explained which balloon will be popped. Of course since my toddler can’t read I explain this part to her. In fact we usually sit and play the game together.
Then the balloons start floating upwards and the goal is to pop the correct balloon and each time your child hears the delightful pop and the correct language sound. Special bonus balloons will occasionally float by and when those are popped you get special effects and bonuses. The bonus balloons get extra giggles of delight from my girls.
KADHO’s uses blue light filtering technology that allows you to filter out the detrimental blue light from electronic devices to protect children’s eyes!
Each level is given a score and with each level your child learns a new sound. After finishing “level” 9 Lil Sis had heard 9 different French sounds.
There is even a parent dashboard where you can track your child’s performance and progress. You can see what areas of the different languages you might want to focus on more.
You can get this FREE app for Android and in the iTunes store. It requires iOS 5.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone?5, iPhone?6, and iPhone6Plus. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and external links are in the protected parent areas. To kids this is much more a game than educational and with every enjoyable pop they get to learn more language sounds that are fundamental to learning a new language. My kindergartener will even play this app because as she told me “she likes hearing the other language sounds.” This is one app I don’t mind my children playing over and over again. I can often hear them quietly repeating the sounds back with the app. Mochu Pop is the fun little app that keeps kids coming back for more.
