Special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman are up to their notorious antics again — all in the name of mythbusting, of course. Collection 7 is jam-packed with head-scratching science and fuse-sizzling experiments, including “mini Myth Mayhem”, “Hidden Nasties”, and “Boomerang Bullet,” for starters. Co-hosts Tory Belleci, Kari Byron and Grant Imahara help the team explore scientific mysteries, such as, is rat pee lethal? Are phonebooks bulletproof? And can you really make a candle from earwax? All in all, ten full episodes offer ten full hours of gun-slinging, dummy-dropping, gag-inducing, don’t-you-dare0try-this-at-home action that will leave you confidently stamping CONFIRMED or BUSTED on these mind-blowing myths.
Mythbusters has been around for quite a long time and it still has never ceased to be amazing. I believe as long as there are questions and curiosity, there will be Mythbusters. Mythbusters does as it’s title eludes to, it confirms or busts the myths of legends, things we see in the movies and sometimes just things everyone has always assumed. It is an ingenious show that uses science in such an extraordinary way.
In Mythbusters: Collection 7 you get to find out if you can jump into a trash can from a window (like you see in the movies) and survive, if you can break out of jail with antacids or even stop a bullet with a phonebook! My family loves to play the game of trying to figure out which one of us will be right about the conclusion and/or what will happen to the Dummy, which is always used for crazy stunts. It’s a great way to have family time and talk about interesting scientific concepts!
