For months, you’ve been hearing me ramble on and on about getting married. Well, we finally took the plunge after just over 14 years together on July 21, 2012. We joined together in the eyes of the Lord and law at a beautiful lakeside ceremony on our lake lot and our neighbor’s adjoining lake lot.
After months of trying to decide who I wanted to walk me down the aisle, I finally decided that the perfect fit and the only ones to take my father’s place that day was my brothers. Once I saw the crowd, I was so nervous, but I made it!
We had a great dinner and very fun reception with most of our family and friends. Since I did almost all of the planning myself, we did forget to put out a few things like the guest book, a few of the desserts and appetizers for later and a few other things, but it was still the perfect day. I was so happy and I don’t think either of us stopped smiling all night.
