I love watching fireflies in the summer. When I see my first firefly, I declare summer officially here. My kids love catching fireflies on summer nights. I was so thrilled when I was able to bring those magical twinkling and glowing displays to their room every night.
The Fireflies In My Room is so easy to assemble (I didn’t even need my husband!). The instructions were very easy to follow. Fireflies In My Room mounts easily to the ceiling and is operated by a remote control with a simple on/off button. It also shuts off automatically after 30 minutes.
The day I installed Fireflies In My Room in my daughters’ room, I couldn’t wait that night for bedtime (okay every day I can’t wait for bedtime!). I had kept the girls out of their room until it was time to go to bed. Teeth brushed, pjs on, etc. they went into their room and immediately saw the Fireflies In My Room. They screamed with delight! With the remote, I turn it on and we laid in bed watching the amazing show. They thought it was so magical. Another plus – they were sound asleep before the 30 minute timer shuts off. I think the twinkling lights lull them into sleep! Now they look forward to going to bed and they play a game while watching the twinkling lights – they try to guess which firefly will twinkle next!
