Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. Aside from all of the presents, spending time with family, and delicious treats, I love seeing all of the decorations out. One of our holiday traditions is driving through local neighborhoods on Christmas Eve to see all of the light displays. My son thinks it’s simply the best to look at the lights and he loves helping put them up on our house as well. This year, we thought it would be fun if he got to decorate his own house for Christmas, so we got him some lights for his Little Tikes Cape Cottage and let him get to work.
The Little Tikes Cape Cottage is for children ages 2 and up, making it the perfect playhouse for all kids. Assembly was incredibly easy – ?everything snaps together and I was able to get it put up?(with a little help from my son) in about 15 minutes. After adding on the stickers, it was done and ready to play with in almost no time at all. The cottage?features:

He was so excited to not only have a playhouse, but to be able to decorate it just how he wanted for Christmas. He asked if he could put up blue icicle lights and that’s just what he did. We used packing tape to secure the lights to the roof and in a few minutes he had a decorated house of his very own. I’m hoping to get a small Christmas flag to put into the flag holder as well to give it the finishing touch.
The Little Tikes Cape Cottage is so much fun for all kids. My son is at an age where he’s very into playing pretend and this is just perfect.?He enjoys playing house inside of it, but with a little creativity?he’s also imagined it was a cave or even a secret superhero lair. I love how endless the possibilities are when we play in the cottage and it would make a great Christmas present for any young child.
