Make-a-Ball is an incredible shop that allows you to personalize professional quality sports balls! It is very unique in that you can use images, photos or logos to make a ball for your favorite sports fan (or yourself!). From baseballs, basketballs to the currently popular Football; their products make outstanding keepsakes.
I was given the opportunity to make my own baseball. My tot and I have been giving my husband baseballs since his very first Father’s Day and this was a great addition to his collection! At the time I was creating the baseball, my son was obsessed with this book called Fire Fuego! Brave Bomberos by Susan Middleton Elya. He went around for weeks telling Daddy he was “El Capit?n” and him and his big brother were the Brave Bomberos (firefighters). I actually had a photo of the boys sitting together with fireman hats! So with the help of my two boys, teen and tot, we created a baseball for our El Capit?n complete with flames.
They are very simple to make once you have a design and/or image in mind for the baseball. You can follow along with the tutorial to see how easy it is! It also has links at the bottom to assist you in trouble areas.
Each sports ball is made is high gloss synthetic leather. The baseballs and footballs also come with synthetic pebble leather comes with a display case to keep it in its original condition. The stitching is red for baseballs and softballs and is very well done.
My husband and the boys love the baseball. It is quite beautiful and bright. The case ensures that it will last for many, many years.
