My three and a half year old is the biggest Skylanders Giants fan that I know! It’s all he wanted for Christmas and each time we’re at the toy store, he begs and pleads to go look at the wall of characters, in hopes to find one he doesn’t have yet (which is rare). I enjoy playing the game with him, which has gone from a daily occurrence down to a few times a week now that we’ve beaten the game twice! What’s so fun is that the story has so many different chapters, goals, areas, and dozens of characters to play, that even though the story arc plays the same, it never gets boring! We get excited to try out a new character, level them up, and earn new powers! The new thing with Skylanders Giants is that there is a “giant” sized Skylander for each of the eight elements! They range from the easy to find, like TreeRex who comes with the game, to ThumpBack and Ninjini, which are not as easy to locate. It’s like a game of scavenger hunt each time you go to the store!
