Boy, do I have a yummy treat for you today! Have you ever heard of Mugging? No, not the type where you protect your purse in NY City type of Mugging…I’m talking about cake in a Mug, Mugging! It’s pretty exciting…a few ingredients in a mug and presto, it’s done in 90 seconds, every women’s dream!
I had the wonderful opportunity to review Shirley J Mugging products! This is the great package I received from them:
- Mugging! Chocolate Brownie Cake
- Mugging! Yellow Cake and Cobbler
- Mugging! Quiche in a Cup
- Mugging Gift Kit-Brownie
- 2 Mugs (Yellow and Orange)
I was so excited when I received the package! One reason I was excited was because I love mugs, and another reason is I love anything sweet, oh…and another reason is it takes no time, at all, to whip these treats together!
The first one I quickly whipped together was the Yellow Cake and Cobbler:
Directions:
1 Packet of Mix
Add 5 Tbsp of Water
Mix for 20-30 seconds
Microwave for 90 seconds
Top with Chocolate chips
*Note:This cake mix has many variations
After I made this I put chocolate chips on top, I let it cool a minute and allowed the chips to melt. If you’re in need of a sweet treat last minute, I definitely recommend this yellow cake mix! All you need is WATER! It was very moist, and the chips added a special touch! I’m going to try the cobbler variation next time!

The next one I had to try was the?Quiche:
Directions:
1 Packet of Mix
Add 1/4 cup water and 1 egg
Stir in 1/2 oz of cheese
Microwave for 2 minutes
When done sprinkle again with cheese
*Note:The Quiche has many variations
I have to say this is my favorite! I added sharp cheddar cheese in and on the top. It was a nice rich consistency…perfection!
My experience with Mugging was very delightful…only because I experienced it with Shirley J…and I’m sure your experience will be the same!
