Every night each of my girls gets one on one reading time with either me or Daddy. It is definitely the time of day that each girl gets the most reading in. Here are reviews of Who Needs a Bath! written and illustrated by Jeff Mack and Goodnight Grizzle Grump! written and illustrated by Aaron Blecha which are both fabulous books to read for bath & bedtime.
Bear has a secret plan to throw Skunk a surprise birthday party. There’s just one problem: Who wants to party with a stinky skunk?
There is one way to unstink a skunk and that’s . . . a bath! But Skunk does NOT want to take a bath.
In this follow-up to Who Wants a Hug? Bear thinks of the perfect way to convince Skunk that baths are fun.
Will it work?
It’s time for Grizzle Grump to hibernate, and he can,t wait to catch some ZZZs.
He thinks he’s found the perfect spot, so he . . .
SCRATCHES and SNIFFS,
TEETERS and TOTTERS,
WIGGLES and WOBBLES,
FLIPS and FLOPS,
and finally SNOOZES and SNORES.But what’s all that NOISE
Will Grizzle Grump ever find the perfect place for his long winter nap?
One book will get your child giggling for bath-time as skunk refuses to take a bath even though bear really wants him to clean up so friends will come to the surprise party. The other book will have the kids sympathizing with poor Grizzle Grump and his search for a place to sleep for hibernation. Every time he gets all cozy someone wakes him up! Both books have awesome colorful illustrations and bath and bedtime struggles are something most kids can relate too. Cute read for kids ages 4-8.
