Now that school is back in session it seems like our days are getting busier and busier. We’re constantly going from one thing to the next, so the kids like to unwind sometimes and just relax from all the constant running around. One of their favorite ways to chill out after a long day is fishing. We’ll go down, pop a squat on the pier and just sit quietly enjoying the beautiful nature surrounding us.
Though the pier is just outside our backyard, it still is a bit of a distance to walk back and forth. So being the germ-a-phobic mom that I am, I stock their tackle boxes with Wet Ones wipes so I know that they can at least wipe the worm and fish guts off their hands when they’re done playing around with their bait or after they catch a fish. I know I for one don’t want those little hands touching me or anything else for that matter – GROSS!
Now that situation may seem a little extreme to some, but I’m sure you’ve come across plenty of your own “sticky situations” in your life. We all have, trust me! That’s why I just love the Sticky Situations website that Wet Ones created featuring some of the stickiest of situations from moms and teachers. It’s chocked full of advice, tips and notable moments surrounding life’s sticky moments.
I for one can attest to quite a few different things that we use Wet Ones to clean up from.
- I keep a tub outside near the grill, so that The Man can wipe the charcoal mess off his hands.
- I keep a travel pack in the car for all of the sticky {usually food or drink} situations that happen while we’re on the go.
- I keep the individual wipes in my purse because you never know when you’re going to run into a mess!
