Forget everything you’ve ever heard about tofu. A lot of people are turned off just by the mention of the word “tofu” and I get it, I totally do. I used to be one of those people too, until I actually gave it a try. Tofu is made of soy, which is an excellent source of protein and is better for you than meat. Soy is also better for the planet and can generate 10x the protein per acre than chicken, beef or protein.
Nasoya sent me a few of their packaged tofu products soIused them to create a couple of?recipes. I tried my hand at a layered dip and it turned out pretty tasty, if I do say so myself.
I made a Southwest Chipotle Dip that is perfect for your next gathering. Take it along to your next football party and I bet those guys will gasp when you let them know they just ate tofu and didn’t even realize it! It’s super easy to make and does not require one bit of cooking – just layer it all in a dish, easy peasy!
