Camping is such a fun summer time experience and is also a great bonding opportunity for family and friends. I’ve had my fair share of camping trips and each one has helped to create some of my favorite memories with those who are closest to me. When you’re out in the wilderness, you might be missing out on many of the comforts of home, but you still need items to be functional. At the very least, you’ll need a tent to sleep in, a sleeping bag, pillow, cooler and chair. But can you imagine packing all of those things into the car for a family of four? Sometimes, it can be impossible to fit everything and that’s why I am very excited about our new camping gear from Kelty.
I love that the Mesh Lowdown Chair, Large Folding Cooler and Shindig Blanket take up such little space. It really makes it so much easier to pack everything that you need to make the most of you camping vacation.
The Folding Cooler definitely impressed me the most because I have never seen anything like it before. It’s a big cooler that fits a lot inside and even has 4 cup holders on top. But what really impresses me is its ability to fold down to take up minimal space in the car.
It’s super easy to set up from a folded position to full size cooler though. You simply unzip it, pull up the sides, then velcro them together. Then you out the waterproof liner inside, fold the top over and secure with velcro. In just minutes, you’ve got a fully functional cooler!
The?Mesh Lowdown Chair is great because it folds up, has a cup holder and a slightly reclined seat-back. It’s lower to he ground, so it allows you to relax around the campfire after a long day.
Last, but not least in the collection of best camping gear for families is the?Shindig Blanket. It’s perfect for cozying up around the campfire and has two layers to snuggle between as well as a hide-away pocket for when you don;t need the extra layer.
