What ingredients will I need to make this Coffee Soap recipe?
You will need the following supplies to prepare the coffee soap bar.
You will also require the following equipment
- Loaf soap mold and cutter
- Large microwave safe spouted measuring cup


How to prepare the Coffee Soap Recipe

Materials
- 1 lb melt and pour soap base
- 1 tbsp coffee grounds
- ¼ cup coffee beans
Tools
- Loaf soap mold and cutter
- Large microwave safe spouted measuring cup
Instructions
- Cut the soap base into one inch squares, and set all but 2 squares inside the measuring cup.
- Heath the soap base in the microwave on high heat for 30 seconds. Remove, and stir well. Heat for additional 30 second increments, stirring between each heat session, until the soap is fully melted.
- Allow soap to set for about 3 minutes, stirring often. Then add the coffee grounds and continue stirring until the soap has cooled off, but not yet set. This will allow the coffee grounds to stay within the whole soap, rather than float to the top.
- Pour soap into the mold.
- Allow soap to set for 30-60 seconds, and then sprinkle coffee beans across the top.
- Heat the remaining 2 soap squares for 20 seconds, remove and stir well. Pour evenly over the coffee beans, then add a few more coffee beans where needed.
- Allow soap to set for about an hour, then cup into 2-3 inch bars.
