I received Space Jam: A New Legacy merchandise for this review/feature. Opinions expressed are my own.
I am excited to announce that SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY opens THIS Friday, July 16th in theaters and on HBOMax.
Welcome to the Jam! Basketball champion and global icon LeBron James goes on an epic adventure alongside timeless Tune Bugs Bunny with the animated/live-action event “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” from director Malcolm D. Lee and an innovative filmmaking team including Ryan Coogler and Maverick Carter. This transformational journey is a manic mashup of two worlds that reveals just how far some parents will go to connect with their kids. When LeBron and his young son Dom are trapped in a digital space by a rogue A.I., LeBron must get them home safe by leading Bugs, Lola Bunny and the whole gang of notoriously undisciplined Looney Tunes to victory over the A.I.’s digitized champions on the court: a powered-up roster of professional basketball stars as you’ve never seen them before. It’s Tunes versus Goons in the highest-stakes challenge of his life, that will redefine LeBron’s bond with his son and shine a light on the power of being yourself. The ready-for-action Tunes destroy convention, supercharge their unique talents and surprise even “King” James by playing the game their own way.
Big Sis is off at sleep away camp but Lil Sis here is pretty stoked for the new movie! It has been a while since we have seen anything in theaters so it will be nice to get out, get some popcorn and enjoy a movie!
Check out these new Space Jam toys for a new generation to enjoy!
My daughter did watch the movie trailer and she is super pumped to see this movie even though she can’t even name all the Looney Tunes characters…bad parenting on my part!
You can even join their #WhatsUpClock TikTok Challenge!!! All the middle school girls around here are very much into TikTok so this one is hitting the mark when it comes to timely social media.
You can download the Space Jam Sticker Pack App or download a fun Space Jam Activity Pack for the kids to enjoy. With Covid the world sort of shut down so we are super pumped that things are opening back up and we are getting out there. I certainly have missed seeing movies in movie theaters!
