Most of us have probably seen the movie The Hangover where a bunch of friends go to Las Vegas for a bachelor party that goes horribly wrong and they then spend the rest of the movie trying to piece together what happened. In real life things usually do not go that bad, but there is a reason why Las Vegas is so popular for bachelor and bachelorette parties – it is really that much fun! If you have a wedding to plan in the near future and are stumped for ideas for a fun and quirky bachelorette party with the girls, then read on. We are going to walk you through the ins and outs of how to throw a bachelorette party in vegas.
Why Las Vegas?
America has so many great places to visit, so what makes Las Vegas so popular for parties? Las Vegas is often the ultimate dream place for a bachelor or bachelorette party, and it is probably because of the casual and fun nature of the city and the saying that “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”. Planning a trip to Vegas can be so much fun and is a great chance to get together with the besties and plan the trip of a lifetime. Vegas is full of excitement, entertaining shows, delicious buffets, and casinos galore. The casinos are a must-see when visiting Las Vegas and can be a source of great fun – just remember that just like when playing online, you must enjoy yourself responsibly, look out for each other, and make sure you are all of legal age. So, let us see what Vegas can offer your bridal party.
How to throw a bachelorette party in vegas
We are going to assume that you have a little bit of time to spend in Sin City. A weekend would be ideal because it gives you the time to plan a lot of fun things. First off, you might want to pick a place to spend the weekend. Preferably a trendy place with an air of luxury about it and while there are many really nice hotels and resorts on or near The Strip, there is one, in particular, that is just perfect for this kind of event: The Cosmopolitan! This luxury resort in the heart of The Strip has tons to offer including a restaurant and bar, its own casino, different venues within the resort which offer quality entertainment, and even an outdoor rooftop pool that transforms into a giant cinema every Monday evening for a large portion of the year. If that isn’t cool, then I don’t know what is!
After you have gotten your party settled at the hotel it is time to hit The Strip. Whether you are after food or fun, the main street of Vegas has it all. Whether you are into Italian, seafood, buffets or Asian cuisine, there is definitely a restaurant to cover your needs.
The fun stuff
Las Vegas is all about fun and there is an activity to suit everyone. Some of the most amazing things that you do not hear about so often are the museums of Las Vegas. There is the awesome Neon Museum, which is located on Las Vegas Boulevard North, and it is truly an amazing work of art. It features a huge collection of old and restored (some are unrestored) neon signs that light up at night. Right now they have a special Tim Burton Expedition on display, which is ongoing until April 12th 2020. They offer the possibility to do photoshoots in parts of the exhibitions and cater to special events such as bridal parties or weddings.
There are a ton of other things to do in Vegas as well, such as going on a helicopter ride, skydiving, catching one of the many great shows on stage, visiting the famous casinos, bungee jumping, and visiting one of the many celebrity chefs that have restaurants in the city, including Gordon Ramsey’s (in)famous Hell’s Kitchen.
However, there are a lot of quiet and relaxing things to do in Vegas too. You can go to a spa and relax, get a massage, a facial, or a mani/pedi, go see a movie, or just relax in your luxurious hotel room, order room service, and watch movies while getting ready to dance the night away. The world is your oyster when in Vegas!
