Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum is a comedy-driven animated adventure series that just launched on PBS Kids! Based on Brad Meltzer and Christopher Eliopoulos’ best-selling kids’ book series, Ordinary People Change the World, the new show follows the adventures of Xavier, Yadina, and Brad, as they travel back in time to meet famous heroes of the past and learn how to be their own heroes of the present.
In each episode, the adventurous trio is presented with a social-emotional problem that young viewers can relate to. In order to help solve this problem, Xavier, Brad and Yadina deliberately turn to the SECRET MUSEUM: a bat-cave style room hidden beneath an ordinary museum, which allows them to travel back in time to meet real-life inspirational figures of the past when they were kids. Historical heroes were once ordinary kids, just like you and me. They had fears, they had doubts, and they had everyday difficulties. Likewise, it’s our belief that every kid has the makings of a hero inside of them. By making strong emotional connections between our inspirational figures as children and our three main characters, Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum strives to show kids that they, too, can be heroes
Brad Meltzer is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of thrillers like The Escape Artist, non-fiction books like The First Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill George Washington, gift books like Heroes for My Son and Heroes for My Daughter, and the New York Times bestselling children’s series, Ordinary People Change the World. He also helped find the missing 9/11 flag with his History Channel television show Brad Meltzer’s Lost History.
Christopher Eliopoulos began his illustration career as a letterer for Marvel, and has worked on literally thousands of comics. But along with that, he is also the author/artist of many comics, including the popular series Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers and Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius, for which he was nominated for multiple Eisner Awards and received a Harvey Award. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and their identical twin sons.

TARGET AGE: Kids aged 4-7
WHERE TO WATCH: Launched on PBS Kids November 11, 2019
I have been reading books from the Ordinary People Change the World series since it debuted and instantly fell in love and now my whole family watches the show! I have 3 girls aged 2, 8 and 11 and we all watch the show together even though technically none of them are in the target age range. The books are fantastic and the show is pretty darn awesome as well! We have only watched a few of the shows so far but they are not to be missed! Educational programming does not get any better than this!
