Summers are meant for having fun and making memories, and I’ve taken a pledge to do just that with my family every Friday night this summer. On a mission to be screen-free for at least one hour every Friday, we’ve been doing fun things and enjoying delicious treats together, like a classic root beer float. This post has been written in partnership with A&W Root Beer, though all opinions are my own.
Creating family memories is a huge part of A&W Root Beer’s history, and its unique, creamy taste can help to make any family moment care-free and special. Of course, and A&W Root Beer Float is a delicious treat to make those moments extra special.

Not only has our family been enjoying a classic root beer float (Lil Man’s favorite treat!) on Friday nights, we’ve been doing fun things together too. We’ve gone camping up north, jumped on a trampoline with our nephews, gone out to a nice dinner, sat around a bonfire, and have many more fun summer nights planned for our family. It’s been wonderful spending time together with no faces staring at a screen, and I can’t wait to look back on these summer memories years from now!
