This is one of those big, hardback books that feels so good in your hands! It reminds me of books from my own youth. It is so thick and so full of information that it is totally fine to just flip the book open and read from anywhere as there is plenty to learn within the pages! Once I started this book I literally could not put it down and I was reading it all by myself! It is especially nice to start at the beginning of the book though as it is written like a story and connects the dots between parts of history often taught separately in school. Full of such interesting information this is a true resource that kids will actually enjoy reading. I think the included mini timeline before each chapter is a nice touch to help remind the reader of the order of things.
A fabulous book that should be on every tween’s bookshelf! It would also be really great in every classroom from 3rd-8th grade so think of getting one for your child’s teacher for the holiday season!
