I love this time of year. It’s the season for days spent on the lake and?backyard bbq’s. The two go hand in hand when you live on the lake like I do, and that’s why I’m just loving these new dishes from Zak Designs that I used to create this simple nautical tablescape.??They sent me products to feature in this post, but all opinions are always my own.
When you’rte entertaining friends and family, it’s nice to present things in a pretty way and what’s great about this simple nautical tablescape is that it really doesn’t require much effort at all. In fact, it is easy enough for anyone to throw together in about 5 minutes, yet it looks really nice!
I started with some simple burlap place mats that I picked up for a few dollars each. Then I grabbed a mason jar and filled it with white flowers. You can use fresh or fake. I set the mason jar on this pretty ceramic platter that my mom got me for Christmas one year.
What really makes this simple nautical tablescape is the dishes that I chose from the coastal dinnerware collection at Zak Designs. I used the following pieces in this simple nautical tablescape:
- hipster neptune wave curls 11-inch dinner plate
- hipster neptune sailors wheel 9-inch salad plate
- spritz bubbly blue 23 oz. plastic tumbler
- spritz bubbly blue 16 oz. plastic tumbler
I layered the plates, the set a’spritz bubbly blue 16 oz. plastic tumbler on top, with the’spritz bubbly blue 23 oz. plastic tumbler off to the left.
I just really love how the whole look came together. The best part is that these dishes from Zak Designs are made from BPA free plastic, so they’re perfect for use inside and outside, with no risk of breaking. The plastic is hard and sturdy, so the plates and cups won’t bend, spilling your food or beverages.
Zak Designs offer s a full selection of items for your kitchen from drink-ware, plates and bowls to serving ware, pitchers, storage containers and more.
