Baby Sis is now 13 months old and I can hardly believe it as time really does feel like it speeds up with each child you have! She is walking everywhere and she absolutely loves to play with toys. My first absolutely hated toys but that would be a whole different blog post. Baby Sis will gleefully play with toys and her favorite for the last few weeks has been her BRIO Mini Bumblebee.
For ages 12 months+ the BRIO Mini Bumblebee is one of those simple toys that really appeals to little ones.
This high-quality, well-crafted toy is small enough for tiny hands to hold onto but large enough to manipulate it with play.
You can push this Bumblebee as the wheels move. Baby Sis is not great with rolling toys but she sure does try! The first time I showed it to her I made buzzing sounds and pretended to fly it in the air so now she does the same thing and I think it is so cute!
The bee body is made from wood which gives it a really nice classic toy feel. All of their wooden toys are made from FSC certified wood. That means the wood comes from well-managed forests. The wings are flexible so of course Baby Sis loves to chew on that part.
Baby Sis takes this toy everywhere….even on our afternoon walks!
I only wish I had this toy for my other girls when they were toddlers. I find BRIO toys to be excellent quality…so much so that these are the toys you will want to pack away and save for the grand kids….I am not kidding. I look forward to adding to our BRIO collection and until then this little bee will fly with us everywhere we go.
