My family thoroughly enjoyed watching the World Cup games and to keep our soccer excitement going my girls having been busy playing Soccerborg. This exciting and innovative game from TOMY will have the whole family screaming with excitement. With players replaced by robots both friends and family go head-to-head in a game of soccer. You don?t need to be able to bend the ball like Beckham to win, simply make the remote-controlled robots dribble, tackle, pass and shoot to win!
Each Soccerborg pack comes with 2 robots, 4 bumpers, 2 balls, 2 remote controls, 2 goals and 1 sticker pack to design your robots. For ages 6 years and up. Both Big Sis and Lil Sis at 9 and 6 have had no problems playing this all on their own. There may have been more than a few arguments but that is just their competitive spirits shining through. Husband and I like to play as well and we do not go easy on our girls!
It easily puts together in just a few minutes. The part that takes the longest is putting in all the batteries (not included).
We set these up on our old train table in our play room and it was perfect. It gave us a lip around the edges to keep the players and the ball on the playing field.
You can go forward, reverse, left, right and the best part is that with the triggers under the remote you kick the ball with either the left or right robot leg. It will send the ball flying! This has been an amazing activity when our afternoon rainstorms roll in. Big Sis is really into soccer so she especially enjoys this game.
