No one likes it when their child gets hurt. On the inside I am the type to panic but on the outside I know I have to be cool and collected to keep my child calm. One way to help keep kids comforted is with a Thermal-Aid plush animal.
Children love stuffed animals and these products act as an ice pack or heating pad to help minor injuries and boo-boos. It’s summer and children are bound to get hurt with sprains, fever, sun burn, bug bites, bee stings and ear aches and Thermal-Aid can help treat them all!
The Thermal-Aid animals are 100% natural cotton on the outside and the inside is made of specifically engineered corn, eliminating any potential odor or mold that many other natural therapeutic packs get. Thermal-Aid animals are also washable, allowing repeated use. I LOVE a product that is washable.
The animals can be cooled in the freezer right next to the waffles or breast milk. Just put it in for 6 or more hours and when you put it on their injury it does not sting like a traditional ice pack does. My suggestion is to have two of these plushes. One in the freezer ready to go and another one ready to be heated up.
Making sure it does not touch the top or sides of the microwave set it for 30 seconds and you then have a kid-safe heating pad. It gets nice and toasty but not too hot but just be careful that it is at a temperature your child likes.
Now when one of my girls get hurt the first thing they ask for is their purple bear. Giving their bear a squish they then put it on their boo boo and they do feel better physically and mentally.
