I have never seen Big Sis so excited for an educational toy. She loves that she is building using using real circuits and her favorites are the lights and sirens. Of course she likes the fan too….truly science in motion. I like to watch when she misses a step and messes up and she has to methodically backtrack to see where she made the mistake. Her face lights up when she figures it out and gets it right. Those problem-solving skills are what helps her really grow as a person.
This kit is really awesome and I hope to implement it into some of my Girl Scout lesson plans for my two troops next year. Lil Sis may only be 6 but she is hovering over Big Sis every time this toy gets brought out. There is something so satisfying about building something and then it “doing something” like light up when done correctly.
