I have a hard time resisting a good board book for younger readers! 10, 9, 8?Owls Up Late! is written by Georgiana Deutsch and illustrated by Ekaterina Trukhanis and is a ridiculously cute book just perfect to read before bed!
Ten little owls are playing in a tree,
hopping and hooting happily.
But Mama Owl calls from down in the nest,
?It’s bedtime now; it’s time to rest.?
Peek through the pages and spot the mischievous owls in this fun counting book, perfect for bedtime!
Each page is part of the rhyming story of a family of owls and Mama is calling them to bed but they don’t want to rest! There are cut-outs throughout the book and with the turn of each page another owl flies off to bed.?The final two pages include a counting list to 10 of all the owls which I think is an added bonus. 10, 9, 8?Owls Up Late! is a cute counting story that never gets old no matter how many times you are not-so-politely requested to read it.
