I have 3 girls and I LOVE dressing them up and thankfully they enjoy me buying them cute things. Art & Eden, is a fully sustainable kidswear line that is designed in collaboration with artists around the world and is also organic, sustainable, charitable, durable and super cute too!
The brand was founded by female entrepreneur Susan Correa. After having worked in the fashion industry her entire life and leading multi-million dollar operations all over the world she started to look into ways to make business have more of a soul and a purpose. After extensive research into how clothes are made and treated she could not believe that parents would be so worried about what they?re putting into their children’s bodies but unaware that what they put ON their children’s bodies is just as important.
She knew that she had to walk the walk and not just talk the talk and so she partnered with a charity in Central America that provides vitamins for malnourished children. And then after learning about a Newark, NJ school where 95% of the children come from families who live below the poverty line, and 40% of the students with special needs she developed a mentorship program there as well.
I am LOVING their bright colors for Spring and Summer! Best of all Lil Sis here loves the clothes too!
Her outfit consists of the Jordyn Short and Summer Sweatshirt. I personally think they run a little big so no need to size up. Lil Sis here is 6 years old, skinny and normally wears a 6 or 7 and is wearing size 6 Art & Eden in these pictures. They fit her nicely and there is plenty of room for some growth.
From recycled packaging, to low impact dyes and to fair business practices Art & Eden has thought of everything. When purchasing from them you can feel good knowing you are supporting a small business that makes sure everyone along the line gets fair wages and practices fair business practices!
For all you boy moms don’t feel left out because the clothes for boys are cute too! They are always adding new prints and I am already liking the looks of a few summer pieces they recently added! As we all try and do what is best for our families it is definitely nice to put clothes on my girls that are safe while being cute too!
