This is a great family movie to watch when everyone wants to get together and laugh. I am a little embarrassed to say my girls did not even know who Woody Weoodpecker was before this movie! I fixed that and we watched this on family movie night. The CGI actually looks pretty great. We see the “evil” dad with his fiance move into the woods to build a big mansion to then “flip” and make money. The dad’s teenage son is more down to earth and thinks that is all silly. The son meets a woodpecker in the woods and names him Woody. Woody will stop at nothing to wreck the plans of the dad and thus hilarious hi-jinks occur. My girls laughed throughout the whole movie which is a sign that family movie night was successful! Woody Woodpecker is a cute movie that the whole family can enjoy.
