Mysticons has now gone from screen to shelf with the brand new Mysticons Action Figures! This unique line from Playmates toys (TMNT, Voltron) shakes up the norm with awesome new action figures targeted toward girls. The line focuses on hero-play instead of hair play, or fashion- offering girls a new way to play and save the day!
The Core Action Figure assortment features fully articulated 7-inch figures of the four fearless heroes. Each figure comes with their weapons and a cute animal friend. The line also includes deluxe 10-inch Arkayna and Zarya dolls with lights and voice action, two flying-action griffin playsets (Arkayna/Izzie and Zarya/Archer), a huggable plush of everyone’s favourite foz, Choko, and role-play battle gear sets that will allow kids to transform into their favorite Mysticon!
Trading cards that come with each toy unlock rewards in the Mysticons: Secrets of Gemina RPG app. This adventure, role-playing, gaming app, Mysticons.: Secrets of Gemina is now available to download for free through the App Store and Google Play on iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
This is not one of those apps made for “little kids.” Instead this app is made for kids that love a challenging game that they can actually play and enjoy. Big Sis especially enjoys this app and she is quite selective when using her limited screen time for an app.
You can also purchase trading cards packs, by Topps, that also add to the app playing experience, containing scannable codes that allow players to unlock special items within the game. Both Mysticons toys and trading cards are available at Toys R Us.

Mysticons season one consists of 40 episodes and airs on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon or you can do what we do and set the DVR to tape all the episodes so you don’t miss a single one!
My two oldest girls at ages 6 an 9 are hooked on Mysticons and love to watch the show and play with the toys and the app! I am all about encouraging girls to be strong! Let girls everywhere seize their own destiny!
