The holidays can get hectic. Many of us are running around like crazy trying to juggle our daily household tasks, shop for our loved one and work. Then, there are those of us who get super involved in holiday baking and experience the busiest time of year with their job. Yes, of course, I’m talking about me here, but I’ll bet that you can totally relate. Am I right? Thought so and that’s why I am sharing some simple tips to make sure you’re ready for holiday guests this year!
If you’re anything like me, then it’s perfectly normal for people to just drop by unexpectedly, or with very little notice. This time of year especially, people just like to gather together and that’s great, as long as you are prepared! So I’ve got some no brainer tips that are so simple for the holidays and any time of year, so that you can be ready for guests at the drop of a time.
Simple tips to make sure you’re ready for holiday guests
- Stock up on paper products. That is NUMBER ONE on the list ladies, because there’s nothing like having no toilet paper for your friends to wipe their you know what with! Toilet paper, paper towel and tissues are essentials that no hone should ever be without!
- Try to keep it clean. I know, a clean house is an impossible task, but try your best so that when you are expecting company, you can just do a quick simple clean up before they arrive.
- Scent is important! I always keep scented wax in my warmers. This time of year is great because you can choose wax or candles that smell like fresh baked goodies!
- Keep snacks on hand. Speaking of food! Simple snacks like cheese, nuts, fruit, olives and cookies are great to keep in stock because you can just arrange them on a plate, in bowls or however you’d like and no one would ever even guess that you didn’t have snacks planned for them!
Walmart makes it really simple to stock up on pretty much anything that you need to be prepared for holiday guests.
